The practical details
Privacy, plainly.
Your wishlist
We store the list title, wishes, optional links and notes, price ranges and anonymous reservations in our database. A random share link allows anyone who has it to view the list and reserve gifts. Do not add addresses or sensitive details.
Your browser session remembers that you own the list. The private edit link grants editing access on another browser. Keep it safe: we cannot recover it by email. Reservations are omitted from the owner view, but anyone with the public link in a different browser can see them. Lists stop being accessible one year after creation.
The interest list
If you opt in, we store your email, exchange size, usual draw time and the date you agreed. We use these details to plan the app and keep a launch interest list. This signup sends no email. There is currently no self-service email removal flow; do not sign up if that does not suit you.
Cookies and measurement
The site uses Laravel session and security cookies so forms and owner access work. It also includes our Google Tag Manager container for site measurement. Gift links are stored as entered, without affiliate rewriting.
Account features
The underlying application retains standard account registration, security and account deletion features. You do not need an account for a wishlist or the interest list. The full gift exchange organizer is still planned.
